ABOUT RADIUS BOOKS
RADIUS BOOKS is a nonprofit art book publishing company based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is our firm belief that the arts—all arts—are vital to our nation and our culture’s future. Through our publication, education, and donation programs, RADIUS BOOKS creates and promotes an ongoing dialogue among writers, thinkers, and artists. Over the past ten years, through our Library and School Donation Program, we have donated over 60,000 thoughtfully-crafted art books to libraries, schools, and art programs across the US. The Donation Program was conceived and initiated as a means to bring artistic visions into the hands of the many, particularly students and young adults.

ABOUT AVALON TRUST
Avalon is an independent wealth management firm serving individuals, families, nonprofits, and foundations from our offices in Portland, Santa Fe, and the New York area. At Avalon, we believe in connecting with and supporting the communities and causes that our clients and our team are a part of. We do that by committing financial and human capital to critical programs and initiatives. Each year, Avalon contributes a portion of its profits to charitable organizations that capture our clients’ and our interests, including supporting our public nonprofit clients through reduced fees. Avalon employees are encouraged to volunteer time and professional expertise for causes they are passionate about.

ABOUT THE COLLABORATION
Six Portland educational institutions and community centers will now be the annual recipients of a collection of fine art books, as part of the Donation Program. These particular gifts have been made possible through a generous donation from Avalon. The libraries of St. John’s and Peninsula Park Community Centers, Northwest Academy, Jefferson High School, and Literary Arts will receive a complete set of 2018 Radius titles by the end of this year.
