Donation Program

Since our founding in 2007, Radius Books
has donated over 100,000 books nationwide.

Radius Books donates 350 copies of every book we publish to libraries, schools, arts organizations, and community centers in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

The Donation Program was conceived and initiated as a means to bring diverse artistic visions and voices into the hands of as many people as possible, particularly students and historically underrepresented communities. It is our hope and expectation that these donations will reach and inspire new audiences.

OUR RECIPIENTS

Our donation sites encompass a broad range of institutions across the United States. Since the program’s inception, we have provided free books to hundreds of organizations, including prison libraries, community art centers, tribal libraries, K-12 classrooms, and under-resourced university and public libraries. We value the librarians and educators who steward these donations as our close collaborators in expanding access to arts education.

“Thank you so much for donating the beautiful books. Your donation is vital to our mission of empowering creativity, leadership, and lifelong learning to a deserving community.”

— Tribal College, New Mexico

“Because of our rural location, donated Radius books provide students opportunities to see and study works they would otherwise not have ability to see, connecting students and faculty to the broader art/photo world.”

—College Art Department, Utah

“We are a small public school that emphasizes the arts. The books you sent are beautiful and will be a wonderful addition to our collection. Thank you for your generosity!”

— Public School, Missouri

“Radius donations have made our classroom and gallery more dynamic and interactive. They bring excellent diversity and relevance to a library that is mostly maintained through donations. Thank you!”

—Arts Center, Vermont

“It was as good as a hundred field trips. Thank you again for giving us a breath of fresh air.”

— Arts Center, Arkansas

“We are just starting a small library, we do not have much of a budget, and art books are expensive. Our teachers are pouring over your books with great enthusiasm. They will be the crown jewels of our little library.”

Public Library, Alabama
