We just received a set of F&Gs for Rebecca Norris Webb’s forthcoming book, My Dakota. “F&G”  is an industry term that is an acronym for “Folded and Gathered.” F&Gs are final printed interior signatures of a book that are untrimmed and unbound. The printer sends F&G’s before they begin binding, so that a publisher can have one last look and correct any unforeseen or critical errors that might have occurred in printing. Rebecca’s F&Gs look fantastic, so we gave the approval for binding. My Dakota should be in our warehouses by mid-May.
